Easter

The girls had so much fun this easter! There were so many pictures I wanted to share though that I decided to make a slide show of our Easter!

5 months old, already!

Today, Ivee is 5 months old. Where has the time gone? But this has been a sad week for her. Two weeks ago Avarey brought home a cold from school and of course it had to travel through the kids. Avarey and Ashanti really didn't get too sick. But, poor Ivee is miserable! She has to go in for a chest xray tomorrow. But on a positive note she is finally gaining weight on a regular and healthy pace. She weighed in at 9lbs 15oz Monday. My 5 month old is as big as some newborns! But she is really strong and smart. She loves to play with all her noise toys. And her ducky that Nanna bought her is her favorite toy ever! Her favorite thing to do is stand! She would stand all day if we let her! Her sisters just adore her! And loving helping in any way they can. What a miracle our kids are! We are so blessed to have them! Mommy and Daddy love you, Avarey, Ashanti and Ivee!

.:EgGs:.

The girls had so much fun coloring eggs! They thought it was pretty cool that you can write on it with a crayon and the color would not take to that spot! The littlest things amaze them! They were not happy that mommy only let them color a dozen a piece though! Oh well at least we had a fun filled night!!

Easter cookies!!

Since Avarey was little I have made cookies for every holiday and let my kids decorate them! They always have a blast! Lately we have included Kortnee in on our festivities and the girls' have really enjoyed that! This time I made pink bunnies with yellow, pink, and purple frosting! Ashanti's cookies always come out looking tie-dyed!!

Grandma Ina

We were so lucky to be able to spend and entire week with Grandma Ina last week! We all miss her so much! The girls had so much fun with her! They loved spending the night with her at the hotel and having "Little Lady" time! We can't wait for next time! Thanks Marina for everything! We love and miss you!!

Wisdom teeth!!

Thursday afternoon I had to have three wisdom teeth pulled all from the right side... I had a 5th wisdom tooth that was still impacted on the top right side! I am in major pain and swollen and bruised!! But I want to thank everyone that has helped us during this!! Especially Trisa and Chris! Trisa was here on Thursday to watch me before I went in cause I was on valum! They could not put me to sleep for the pulling so they had me take valum (worthless stuff, I barely even felt it) and then she kept the girls the whole time I was there. Ryan got home shortly before I did and was awesome with making sure the girls' left mommy alone to sleep! And then Friday Chris was so great she took all day friday off and came and played with the girls' she was amazing!! They went for a picnic at the park and fed the ducks and played and I was able to get some much needed sleep! So thank you both for your help!!

A long day in Tremonton

Since I have this week off of school I decided to get all the big stuff that needs to be done accomplished! And it seems yesterday was the day to do it! First Avarey needed to get her kindergarten shots. She had to have four yesterday which did not make for a happy Avarey, but luckly Aunt Trisa had an appointment across the street that got over with before our appointment so she was able to meet us at the dr. Which really helped Avarey and mommy! Av started crying before the shots even happened and really cried when she got the shots... which made her nose bleed :( poor girl! But then she had to have her finger poked for a bllod test and laughed! silly girl!

After the doctor we headed on up to Tremonton... The girls got to ride with Aunt Trisa they were excited! First we got to stop and say hello to Grandma Bev at work! The girls miss seeing her! Then for the fun part! Ashanti has wanted her ears pierced for a while now and so I told her that after her surgery I would take her to get them pierced! So we went to the salon that Trisa works at, Possibilites, and got Ashanti's ears pierced. She did good at first and then cried for a minute but was fine!!

Then we got to go to McDonalds and play for a little while! After we got done we went up to Shad and Becky's to play with Gracie and Acen. (Avarey really misses playing Gracie) Gracie was kind enough to do the girls make up! She did a breath taking job!! Ivee and Acen are only 6 weeks apart but it is amazing the difference that 6 weeks makes! They enjoyed playing together. I think Acen liked it a little more though!

Afterwards we went to Uncle James and Aunt Amandas to play for awhile! I miss living close to my sister! We have only seen each other a few times since we both moved! Then on to Grandma and Grandpas for dinner and playing with them! As usual the girls spent most their time downstairs with Richard and Trisa! Finally home we came! A very long day for all of us but very much needed!! And Ivee was so good the whole time!! We are very lucky to have such a good baby!

Ivee's Blessing

Well we finally got to have Ivee blessed this weekend (Sunday, March 2nd) We had it planned for February but thanks to all the great snow we got we had to postpone! Ted, Ryan's dad, blessed her and she was so good no crying no screaming
A lot of our family and friends were able to make it which really meant a lot to us. And after sacrament we headed over to my dads for a nummy dinner. Thanks to everyone that helped with that!
This is my niece Grace with my girls'! She was so excited to be able to hold Ivee. It really hurt her feelings when Ivee started screaming cause she had just about enough getting passed around

So all that studying and lack of sleep paid off!! I got a 3.95!! Thanks for everyone that is encouraging me through school!! I know its not always easy!! But thanks for all you do for me and for my family!!

Treehouse Museum

I had to do a critique on a museum for my humanities class last week so I packed up the kids and we (Ryan even joined us) went to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. That has turned out to be an amazing place. We all had so much fun playing and laughing! It was a lot of fun and before we left the girls were planning trips back! Final decision was that Ivee was gonna become president!
