No Cavity's

So today we went to the dentist and the girls did awesome... they both got their teeth cleaned and x-rays taken. Not one bit of crying or whining came out of either of them I was so proud!! And the best part of all, no cavity's!! Awesome news! We all really like the dentist that they see. I am glad I found him!! They want to do a finger board spring on Avarey, to correct her upper jaw and hopefully her bite. But, the insurance does not cover it and she is still a little young. So, we are gonna wait for about a year and then get it done! Other then that things went good!

Avarey is growing up

So it seems my little princess is growing up. She is in preschool right now and doing awesome. I am so very proud of her! I can't believe how advanced she is for her age. The things she masters somedays boggle my mind.... SO the other day I go and check my mail and their is a manila envelope, of course I open it and it seems my little girl has to start kindergarten... don't get me wrong I knew this was coming and Avarey and I talk about it. And she is ready. (but she wants to skip kindergarten, she wants to eat lunch at school) So now I have to fill out this packet that I swear is a novel and send it in so Avarey can get enrolled in school! Why do they need so much information? Some of the papers and questions I don't think are any of their buisness but whatever! Anyway so their is my rant.... My little girl is growing up and yes I am excited to see what life has in store for her and see where she is going in life.... BUT WHY can't she just STAY little FOREVER?!?

So proud of Ashanti

Today we went down to Primary Childrens Medical Center for Ashanti's post-op. It went really good. She does not have to return to that department!! YIPPEE! Next week we are going to her Dysphagia clinic, which is the one I dread the most. Its me, Ashanti and 8 different doctors and therapists for 3 hours. No-one can ever agree and it is always a total nightmare. But hopefully this will be the last time we have this clinic now that the feeding tube is out!! And then it will hopefully just be yearly checks in cardiology and gastroneurology! Sissy has been so strong and tough through all this and came so far! I am so proud of her!! And excited to see what life has in store for her!

Autumn and the kids come to play

Today we got to play with some of our best friends!! It was such an exciting day for us! Brendyn is 4, Ayden is 2 and Hailee is only three weeks older then Ivee! They are one of my best friends' kids... and whenever we get together a good time is bound to happen. Its crazy and fun! The girls love it when mommy says that Autumn and the kids are coming over (its amazing how fast their room got cleaned today, because they were so excited)

Ivee eats cereal

Ivee had cereal for the first time last night!! The first few bites she could not decide if she liked it but after a few bites and a little convincing from mommy she decided it wasn't too bad! I can't believe my baby is already big enough to eat from a spoon!

Just like Daddy

The girls love spending time with daddy! Playing the 360 with Ryan is a fun time at our house! Avarey and Ashanti love to ROCK out and play Guitar Hero!

Ashanti's surgery

Ashanti just had her tenth operation on the 4th of February. This one was to finally close her feeding tube site! She has recovered awesome and it looks really good. The first few days were hard on her, she was in a lot of pain. But she has slowly gotten better! And is now back to herself!
